The Program Manager is responsible for supporting the development of girls and young women through the Australian Guide Program (AGP) in NSW & ACT, by promoting innovative, fun, relevant, high quality opportunities and experiences for youth Members.
This role maintains a focus on the delivery of a well-balanced, relevant AGP and the importance of quality leadership.
Expressions of Interest are now being sought for this integral volunteer role within Guiding in NSW & ACT. Appointed by the Board of Girl Guides NSW & ACT initially for three years the Board may extend the term, if mutually agreed, for a further two years. To be eligible for appointment, candidates must be a member of Girl Guides NSW & ACT and have or have held an ALQP or AALP Leader Qualification within the last three years; be committed to the principles of Guiding; have a comprehensive understanding of the AGP; and not hold the equivalent position at a Region level.
