what is the time commitment?

The Girls Advisory Panel is a 12-month commitment and each GAP representative will sit on GAP from January to December in a calendar year.

There will be six GAP meetings for each year: two face-to-face GAP weekends and four teleconference meetings.

GAP representatives will also be encouraged to commit to different roles within the Panel. As an example, these roles will include Chairperson, Secretary, Social Media, and Events.
These areas of work will require some level of responsibility, initiative and commitment.

It is assumed that in applying for GAP, successful applicants will accept their appointment and the requirements of meeting attendance.

The first GAP weekend will be held on the last weekend of January as a full weekend camp (full details will be advised to successful applicants). The second GAP weekend will be (tentatively) held first weekend of July as a full weekend camp. The final dates for the July GAP weekend may be subject to change (full details to be advised to successful applicants).
