Girl Guide Ambassadors

Girl Guides NSW & ACT relies on well positioned people in Government departments and community service organisations to speak on behalf of  Girl Guides in a favourable manner to increase the profile of Guiding among the general public.

Some of our 50 Ambassadors include:

Linda Burney, Minister for Youth, Minister for Volunteering & Minister for Fair Trading.

It is hoped that the Ambassador Scheme will help to ensure that high-profile community minded people recognise Girl Guides Australia as the only all female organisation in Australia that provides a program for girls and young women encouraging community service, self-respect and challenges the individual in a non-religious environment.
