Opportunities for Olave Program members

The Olave Program is a framework for participants to engage in opportunities for personal challenge through a flexible network, with a focus on service.

What can your OP peer group do?

Outdoor Activities such as boating, rock climbing, caving, hiking, expedition training.

Work on OBP related activities.

Organise and carry out a service project.

Help organise a Region or State event.

Discover a new interest or leisure activity that you haven't tried before.

Visit Tingira to play or help out.

Training (not just for Leaders) eg. first aid, boating, camp fire, archery, low ropes etc.

Volunteering in Guiding & the wider community

 Make a difference in the world

Youth Participation Grants
Young people aged 12-25 can apply for grants up to $5,500 for community activities in their local area.

GOLD Projects
An International Service opportunity specifically for Olave Program Members.  Link the fundamentals of World Guiding and Service into one fantastic package.  Projects are currently running in Thailand.  For more information, contact the GOLD Co-ordinator

Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development
AYAD places skilled young Australian volunteers, aged 18-30, on short-term assignments in developing countries throughout Asia and the Pacific.
