The Australian Adult Leadership Program (AALP)

The AALP is a progressive, competency based program for Leaders in Girl Guides Australia.

The program is divided into four levels:

Guiding Awareness
An introduction to Guiding and its principles.

Leadership Development 
General introduction to leadership skills.

Leadership Qualification
Specific leadership skills.

Further Development
Two modules or their equivalent completed every three years after qualification.

Modules within the AALP are grouped into six areas of development:

• Program
• Networking
• Management
• Outdoors
• Training
