Confidence in leadership

The Australian Adult Leadership Program has been designed to provide for the different needs of Leaders. It aims to give confidence in carrying out a leadership role whether for leaders of youth, adults or as a resource leader.

Training through courses

The Training Department assists Leaders to develop  their skills and knowledge of Guiding through a wide variety of courses. 

The courses range from Guiding Awareness to real adventures, such as abseiling, boating, and wilderness expeditions, with personal development, networking, Guiding traditions and history and much more in between.

Partners in Guiding

Every new Leader works with her Guiding Partner, and together they explore with world of Guiding. The Guiding Partner assists the new Leader to put into practice the knowledge and skills gained at trainings, she also assesses the leader on the varied competencies in her Leader's Journal.
