Message from the State Trefoil Guild Adviser
Welcome back to all the Trefoil members who have had a long break over December/January. Hope the Christmas and New Year period was a happy, healthy and safe one, and you are all ready for the busy year of Centenary celebrations ahead. As well as being the Year of the Girl Guide, in Chinese horoscope it will be the year of the tiger commencing 14th February 2010.
For those born in the year of the tiger, which comes around every 12 years, you may be interested to know that tiger people are difficult to resist, for they are magnetic characters and their natural air of authority confers a certain prestige on them. They are tempestuous yet calm, warm-hearted yet fearsome, courageous in the face of danger yet yielding and soft. They enjoy life full of challenges and unexpected events, like visiting unusual places and meeting interesting outstanding people. So all you tigers out there I hope you will meet interesting and outstanding people this year perhaps at some of our Centenary celebrations.
Best wishes for a great year ahead
June Conen
