Becoming A Manager - Changing Roles

This course is for members that are changing roles from Unit Leader or Outdoor Leader to District Manager. 

Becoming a Manager—Changing Roles equips new District Managers with the skills and knowledge to manage the information, finances and property of your District according to Girl Guides Australia and State Girl Guide Organisation requirements. 



You will explore the skills and knowledge required to build, lead and manage an effective team of Leaders and Support Group members. The course covers the essentials of running a District, and will touch on techniques to build your District for the future.



Registration & Refund Policy:

You must be a current Member of Girl Guides NSW & ACT in good financial standing to attend. Please make sure your membership is current before registering and have your membership number available to sign up online.

Registrations close Monday, 25 June 2018.  

There are no name changes or refunds after 25 June 2018.

All refund requests must be submitted via email to courses@girlguides-nswact.org.au

How to register for Members

  1. You must log in to our website as a Member. Click the log in button on the top right hand corner (If you have forgotten your login details, please contact our Membership Team at Guide House, ph: 02 8396 5200).
  2. Click the "Register Myself" button. Select the correct ticket option and answer all the questions. Don't forget to save your responses before proceeding to checkout.
