Ranger Training Ship (RTS) Tingira was originally purchased for use of Ranger Units 50 years ago.
Sea Rangers, with a little help from others, raised the funds to purchase the old King’s School boat-shed in Hen and Chicken Bay near Sanders Marina at Cabarita Park and so the State Water Activity Centre came about.
RTS Tingira is now an activities centre for all age groups, from five to 105, there’s a wide range of programs for all ages and skills.
