Great Guide Sleepover 2019: Gorillas, Gumboots & Goodies

Over 850 Girl Guides pounded the pavement and practiced persuasion in preparation to participate in The Great Guide Sleepover 2019, Girl Guides NSW & ACT's premier fundraising event.
Funds raised though this event help support Taronga Conservation Society and Girl Guides NSW & ACT. THis year we raised an amzing $55,000 and thanks to the efforts of our youth attendees, a further $22,000 was raised in support of the Gorillas at Taronga Zoo. More than double our goal of $10,000!
We had over 140 active fundraising individuals, 56 active fundraising Units, 130 girls who raised over $50 each and won a plush toy, three girls who raised over $1000 and five Units that raised more than $1000.

Top Fundraiser:
Prize: Roar & Snore for 4 people at Taronga Zoo for the top individual fundraiser (minimum $600+ raised)
Top Fundraising Unit:
Prize: A VIP Behind-the-Scenes Animal Experience for up to 8+ people for the top performing Unit
Top Phone Cycle Unit:
- Emu Plains, brought in 38 phones
Prize: Exclusive Behind the Scenes Keeper talk
