We have the opportunity to promote Guides at The Mount Druitt Festival, a popular community event marking the opening of the swimming season at Mount Druitt Swimming Centre.
We will be operating a PR and activity stall, and all attendees to the festival will enjoy free entry to the pool on the day as well as the opportunity to visit the wide range of stalls and enjoy some free entertainment and activities!
It should be a fun experience and do great things for our profile in the local area, with the hope of attracting lots of new members and volunteers!

Your Guide Shirt and navy pants, skirt or dark dress jeans with no rips or tears. Comfy shoes. If you have a Science Week Guide shirt bring this too - if one of you were wearing this that would be great but no problem if not.
What to bring:
Your lovely self and enthusiasm, snacks and water. If you happen to own a tablet or iPad this is a great tool you can use to show people our website and look up Units they might ask about, but not essential. We will also aim to have a laptop on site.
